Bungofest

The Strathbungo Society and The Arches are putting together a one day event around Strathbungo that puts live performance in friendly local spots – I guess just for the hell of it! I’m taking part in an afternoon Love Club at 1.30 pm at Tapa, my favourite coffee shop and bakery (and where I might have found myself anyway that afternoon.) The full schedule includes performances by the Arches Community Choir, a brilliant troupe of songsters, and a host of other southside artists. Even though I’m technically in Govanhill, I get to have a few minutes stage time reading a piece called “Farmville.”
